Electronic "sweeps" and technical physical searches for eavesdropping devices are critical to the confidential day-to-day operations of organizations that may be susceptible to unfriendly surveillance. The electronic/audio countermeasures option should be considered if there is ever any suspicion that closely held, or confidential information is, or has been known to be, in the possession of "unauthorized persons,” competitors or foreign government officials.
